   You know, when sex is prioritized in a pre-nuptial relationship, it objectifies the woman and objectifies the man. It removes dignity of the individual and replaces it with the value of the short term pleasure of sex.

   This is the sort of attitude that leads to high divorce rates, adultery and also the negative effects of pre-marital sex including poor relationships, babies aborted for convenience, STD’s and kids who get hurt in the process.

   I agree. Many Christians just want the “golden ticket” to salvation. The false notion that through “faith alone”, they are saved.

   But, they should heed this:

   13 “Enter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is easy,[a] that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard, that leads to life, and those who find it are few. (Matthew 7)

   Hmm. Ok, let’s unpack that. What actually IS the “GOOD NEWS”.

   It is that Jesus Died and was resurrected to redeem us for (wait for it….) OUR SINS!

   So, the good news is that we are redeemed for our sins and we must therefore understand what our sins ARE!!!!!

   People aren’t going to remove those sins from their lives by just hearing “there is a reasonable hope that we are all saved”. NO! There is a Narrow Gate, and Jesus warned us to seek that Narrow gate because the path is wide and the ways are many that lead to destruction.
