Ants Ruin Everything In These Picnic Comics
by The GoComics TeamIt is said among certain scientific circles that the common American field ant can support something like 5,000 times its body weight. That's an impressive proportional figure, and one that gives the colony-loving critters the perfect evolutionary edge to pilfer picnics.
Even if you haven't made the time to roll out a blanket, unpack a basket and chomp on sandwiches outside this summer, you've probably caught at least a few (dozen) scurrying ants making their way along the sidewalks and kitchen counters in your life -- no doubt on their way to or from an ant farm. You probably didn't stop to weigh any of them, but rest assured that the calculator app on my phone indicates that they can lug around up to five grams a pop without being crushed! No seasoned chip's flavor dust is safe!
Not convinced that the ant threat to your hypothetical pending picnic is real? Scroll through these comics for concrete comics confirmation.
