   I welcome whenever DD WIZ posts early in the commentary. His posts are very well thought out and thoroughly researched.

   With rare exceptions, his posts are superior to mine. And to virtually all the other posters.

   Things are, in fact, going pretty well, with all the jobs that have been created, inflation easing, 60,000 or so infrastructure projects underway, and especially the millions of shots in arms that mean no refrigerated trucks are needed for temporary morgues.

    The FFs didn’t get it wrong. They just could not imagine that someone who would violate a couple hundred years of norms and precedents would ever get the support he has. They could not imagine corporations getting a strangle hold on the economy. They could not imagine Fox ‘news’ and the right wing media structure.

    But here we are. Almost half the country believes the Tariff Fairy is going to eliminate the national debt, ‘in a very short time I believe’ and eliminate the need for taxes of any kind.
