This avatar image is of a once (frequently) recurring "Frog Applause" character known as "Grace the Face." Some readers wondered if this is a likeness of me. Nope. Sorry, if I disappointed anyone. Oh, and... Grace doesn't generally wear this eye patch. She's just trying to be fashionably lame for her appearance here. ♥

Wow, Greg. I like how your subconscious mind misinterprets things. That would be a much better FA cartoon.

Yesterday, my doctor ordered a second round of IV-iron infusions (1x/wk for 5wks) so I’ll be able to get shoulder replacement surgery in a month or so. As long as my hemoglobin is low, my orthopedic surgeon won’t allow me to get my surgery. I’m trying hard to raise it. I’m not accomplishing much with diet or oral supplements… the infusions seem to be the thing really helping.

Hey, Scammers. Here’s a pop quiz for you. Explain the difference:

“Help, a scammer!” versus “Help a scammer!”

“I love scamming, my mother, and my rooster.” versus “I love scamming my mother and my rooster.”

I hear you. I once tried to convince an old man who was trying to get 14-17K in gift cards (can’t recall which amount all of a sudden). When I tried to explain the scam, the man told me to mind my own business. I guess I could have been all butthurt and left him to get scammed, but I told the manager. She knew his daughter by way of the pharmacy, and his daughter eventually convinced him that he was getting scammed. No one ever said thank you to me, except myself.

I’m hoping a lot of eyes will be on today’s comic soon. I belong to a large and thriving scambaiting community and I’m serious about doing my part of bring attention to the issue of scamming. Most scam victims are older. In this case, it’s an adult son who has some cognitive vulnerabilities. Scammers don’t care who you are. They will take everything they can from you. Drain your bank accounts. Leave you homeless. There are many stories of victims taking their lives.
